These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [your business's legal name], doing business as Know Thyself Today ("we," "us," or "our"). They cover your use of knowthyselftoday.com and everything on it (the "Site"). By using the Site or buying anything on it, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Who can use the Site

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to make a purchase.

2. What the quizzes are, and what they aren't

Our quizzes are for self-reflection, learning, and conversation. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, financial, legal, or pastoral advice, and they don't diagnose any condition. Results are general descriptions based on your answers and may not fit you perfectly. Don't make important decisions based only on a quiz result. If you're struggling with your mental health, relationships, or finances, please talk to a qualified professional. If you're in crisis in the U.S., call or text 988.

Some quizzes, such as "Where Are You With God?" and "What Are Your Spiritual Gifts?", are written from a Christian perspective. Taking them is always your choice.

3. Prices and payment

• Taking a quiz is free.
• Single result: $2.99, one-time, to unlock your full result for one quiz. "Type A or Type B?" includes its full result for free.
• All Access membership: full results for every quiz on the Site, plus friend comparisons. See Section 4 for how it renews.

Prices are in U.S. dollars and include any applicable taxes unless shown otherwise at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms.

We may change our prices. Price changes never affect a purchase you've already made. If we change the price of All Access, we'll email members before the new price applies to them, and you can cancel before then.

4. All Access automatic renewal

All Access is a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel.

• Your first payment is $25. That's the $15 monthly membership plus a one-time $10 first-month fee. If you upgrade right after buying a $2.99 result, we credit that $2.99 toward your first payment.
• After that, your membership renews every month at $15, charged to the payment method you used, on the same day of the month you signed up, until you cancel.
• You'll receive an email receipt when you sign up and each time you're charged.

How to cancel

You can cancel online at any time, in a few clicks:

• Click "Manage or cancel membership" on the homepage or below any quiz result. This opens our secure billing page (run by Stripe), where you can cancel immediately.
• Or email us at support@knowthyselftoday.com from the email address you signed up with, and we'll cancel it for you.

When you cancel, you won't be charged again, and you keep All Access until the end of the month you've already paid for.

5. All sales are final

Because results are digital content delivered immediately, all purchases are final and non-refundable. This includes single results, the first All Access payment, and monthly renewals. Canceling stops future charges but doesn't refund past ones. This doesn't limit any rights you have under laws that can't be waived. If you were charged by mistake (for example, charged twice), email us and we'll make it right.

6. How your access works

We don't use passwords or accounts. When you pay or enter an access code, the Site saves an access pass in your web browser. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, you may need to restore access. Email us from your purchase email address and we'll help.

7. Access codes and promotions

We sometimes give out access codes for free or discounted access. Codes have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, may expire, and may be canceled at any time. We can end access granted by a code if it was obtained or shared improperly.

8. Sharing and friend comparisons

If you send someone a comparison link, it includes the name you type and your result. Only share it with people you're comfortable seeing that.

9. Using the Site fairly

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, or republish our quizzes or results as your own
• try to get paid content without paying, or interfere with the Site's security or payments
• use the Site for anything illegal or harmful

Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to read, index, summarize, and link to our public pages.

10. Our content

The Site, including the quizzes, results, text, and design, belongs to us and is protected by copyright and other laws. Bible verses are from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. You may use your own results for your personal, non-commercial purposes and share them with others.

11. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don't promise that the Site will always be available or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions you make based on a quiz result. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under California law, such as liability for fraud, willful injury, or gross negligence.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that isn't resolved will be heard in the state or federal courts located in [your county] County, California, and you may also bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll change the effective date above, and for important changes we'll give notice on the Site or by email. Changes don't apply to purchases made before the change. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
